Police officer killed in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): A police officer has been killed in limits of 12^th police district of Kabul, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Firdos Faramarz identified the victim as Mujeeb Andarabi, who was the 12^th police district chief.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Qala-i-Zaman Khan area at around 6:00pm on Friday.

Andarabi was killed in a firefight, Faramarz said, claiming the perpetrator had been identified and was being chased.
