KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): At least 20 people were injured as a result of car bombing in the 7th police district in the capital of of southern Kandahar province on Tuesday, an official said.
Police spokesman, Nasir Barakzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the bombing occurred at around 2:00pm.
He said the explosives-packed truck targeted 06 Unit Headquarters which resulted in casualties of civilians and security personnel. However, he did not provide information about the exact number of casualties.
But a source at the Mirwais Hospital confirmed receiving 20 injured from the bombing site.
