Political parties’ coordination commission head killed in Kabul

KABUL(Pajhwok): A security official on Tuesday said that Mohammad Ibrahim Rahimi, head of the Commission on National Cohesion of Political Parties and Civil Society Institutes

was killed by unidentified gunmen in the 5th police district of capital Kabul.

The source, who did not want to be named in the report, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Rahimi was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on Monday night.

He added that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

This comes as three policemen were also killed by unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle in the same area last afternoon.

No groups have so far claimed responsibility for these attacks.
