KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Arab Emirates (UAE) said on Saturday it was suspending the entry of travelers from Afghanistan and Indonesia on national and foreign flights.
The announcement was made the UAE National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), according to Al-Arabia.
Effective from Sunday (tomorrow), the new rule also applies to transit passengers, with the exception of transit flights to the UAE or those bound for Afghanistan and Indonesia.
Earlier in the month, Saudi Arabia had restricted travel to and entry from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, the UAE and Vietnam over coronavirus concerns.
