KABUL (Pajhwok): The Attorney General Office (AGO) on Sunday announced suspending five prosecutors over misuse of authority.
In a statement, the AGO said the five prosecutors had been tasked with investigating the case of Afsootar’s contract with Ariana Telecom private company. The five individuals were charged with criminal offenses and suspended.
The AGO added its high council in a meeting on Thursday, after hearing the report of the Audit Office, suspended the prosecutors.
The statement said the AGO was committed to fighting corruption and making Afghanistan corruption-free.
