KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of religious scholars and imams of Kabul mosques on Sunday called on both sides to stop the war and work for lasting peace.
Nearly 30 religious scholars and imams of Kabul mosques attended a gathering with slogans “For God, war is enough”, “Only believers are brothers, so establish peace and tranquility among your brothers and Fear God Almighty and fear that He may have mercy on you.”
The scholars while declaring their neutrality said that the Afghans should make peace and build their own country.
