KABUL (Pajhwok): The governor of northern Baghlan province on Thursday said the government would soon wrest back fallen districts. Meanwhile, the governor of eastern Laghman announced establishment of a security belt in the province.
Baghlan governor Akbar Barekzai told media representatives in Kabul that the government has control over five districts of the total 14 districts of the province, but said the government would soon have control over the rest of the districts.
He added that the security situation in the province was better than the past few weeks.
Barekzai said residents of Baghlan province were leading a normal life . . .
