KABUL (Pajhwok): China has offered to host intra-Afghan peace negotiations at any time and contribute to the political settlement of the Afghan crisis.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi voiced Beijing’s willingness at a meeting with his Afghan counterpart Haneef Atmar in Dushanbe on Wednesday.
The Global Times quoted Wang as saying that his country would not meddle in Afghanistan’s internal affairs,
According to the newspaper, the foreign minister promised China would continue to respect Afghanistan’s sovereignty and independence.
Wang assured Atmar China would continue to support Afghanistan in combating the COVID-19 pandemic, including vaccine supplies . . .
