KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Committee of War Victims has asked the warring parties to declare an immediate and permanent ceasefire on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
In addition to the ceasefire call, the committee urged the Taliban not to impede activities of schools, health centers and other government offices in areas they recently overran.
With foreign forces withdrawing from the country, more than 180 districts have fallen into the hands of the Taliban in the past two months.
