1 killed, 9 injured in Samangan bomb blast

<p style="text-align: justify;">AIBAK/KABUL (Pajhwok): At least one person was killed and nine others injured in an explosion in northern Samangan province while a bomb blast in capital Kabul caused no casualties, officials said Saturday.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Munir Rahimi, Samangan police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that an explosion happened in a booth in Park Markazi area of Aibak city, capital of the province around 10am today morning.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">He said that the booth belonged to a cleric selling amulets. The bomb killed a person and wounded nine others when exploded, he added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">All the injured of the incident were civilians and they were shifted to hospital for treatment, Rahimi added.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">An eyewitness who wished to go unnamed, said, “I was near the explosion area, a number of people injured.”</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Samangan public health director, Abdul Khalil Mesdaq confirmed transfer of a body and nine injured people from the incident area to the provincial civil hospital.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to another report, a bomb was exploded on Darul Aman Road in the limits of sixth police district of capital Kabul this morning.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Kabul police spokesman, Ferdaws Faramarz confirmed the incident but said that the blast caused no casualties. He said that an investigation was underway about the incident.</p>
