President in Nangarhar to assess security situation

KABUL (Pajhwok): Leading a high level delegation, President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday morning visited eastern Nangarhar province to assess the security situation there.

The president would assess the overall security situation in Nangarhar province, meet with the 201 Selab Military officials and defense personnel, a statement posted on the Presidential Palace's Facebook page said.

The president has already made similar trips to Herat, Balkh and Khost provinces.
