TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Repatriation and refugees department officials in northeasternTakhar province say that around 12,000 families have been displaced as a result of recent conflicts.
Mohammad YasinLabib, head of Takhar Repatriation and Refugees Department, told Pajhwok Afghan News that thousands of families had been displaced in the province due to recent violence.
“These people have left their houses and belongings due to war and displaced to various areas,” he said.
He added that 12,000 families had been displaced in Takhar in recent conflicts and a survey had been conducted to identify the most needy.
