3 persons arrested over falsifying VP decrees

KABUL (Pajhwok): Three individuals have been arrested over issuing fake decrees from the address of the Vice President’s office, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) said on Wednesday.

The AGO in a statement said AGO’s Control and Surveillance office arrested the three individuals on July 27, 2021.

The statement said the accused individuals had prepared and issued four false letters from the address of the First Vice President to the AGO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE).

The statement said the accused were in police custody and the case was being investigated.
