KABUL (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead the director of justice for central Logar province in Kabul, an official said on Wednesday
Mohammad Gul Alam was gunned down in limits of the third police district of Kabul on Tuesday evening, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) .
Alam was killed behind the Seelo area of the capital city, MoJ said, praising his efforts to deliver justice and ensure the rule of law in the country.
The ministry urged security organs to identify, detain and bring the killers to justice at the earliest possible.
Police spokesman Firdos Faramarz, confirming the incident, said they had started investigating the crime.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the murder.
