ANA copter makes emergency landing in Lashkargah

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Afghan National Army (ANA) MD530 helicopter has made emergency landing in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Hlemand province, a well-placed source said on Friday.

According to the source the copter made emergency landing due to technical fault.

But another source on the condition of anonymity said the Taliban targeted MD530 copter that was trying to hit the Taliban positions.

After it was hit by the Taliban the copter made emergency landing in a school. The pilots suffered no harm.
