US renews strong support to Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday talked to President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani and reiterated US strong and enduring commitment to Afghanistan.

Both dignitaries during a telephonic conversation discussed the need to accelerate peace negotiations towards an inclusive political settlement that respects the rights of all Afghans.

On his twitter handler Secretary Blinken wrote: “today to reiterate the strong and enduring U.S. commitment to Afghanistan. We discussed the need to accelerate peace negotiations toward an inclusive political settlement that respects the rights of all Afghans, including women and girls.”
