KABUL (Pajhwok): Donated by France, 144,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine reached Kabul on Sunday, health officials said.
The vaccine was handed over to WazmaSaleemi, finance and administration secretary of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) by deputy ambassador of France in Kabul.
According to Saleemi, currently coronavirus cases have dropped but if people did not take care and did not vaccinate themselves, the fourth wave of the virus could be triggered.
MoPH Spokesperson DastagirNazari said France, India, US and China had provided a total of 5.2 million doses of coronavirus vaccine to Afghanistan.
