KABUL (Pajhwok): Two policemen were killed and 21 people including six civilians were injured in a bomb blast in Pakistan’s southern province of Balochistan.

A Balochistan government spokesman LiaqatShahwani told media that the motorcycle bomb exploded near the Serena Hotel in Quetta.

He said that two policemen were killed and 18 others were injured including 12 policemen and six civilians in the blast.

But hospital sources said they had received 21 wounded people.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.

Separately, one soldier was killed in an attack on Pakistan army chick-posts in North Waziristan near the Durand Line.

The Pakistani military claimed the attack was carried out from across the Durand Line.

The Pakistani Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack.
