KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) officials in southern Kandahar say that 100,000 electronic ID cards have been distributed in the province and over 100,000 more are under process since the service launched.
However, an official of NSIA said that recent violence in the province has totally affected the process.
SamiullahMaqsodi, head of NSIA for Kandahar, in an exclusive interview with Pajhwok Afghan News said that electronic ID cards distribution process was started about a year back in the province.
