KABUL (Pajhwok): Abdul Hamid Khorasani, the leader of an illegal armed group, was wounded along with two of his companions during a clash with security forces the Anabah district of central of Panjshir province, a government source said on Thursday.
The source said that Khorasani carried the white flag of the Taliban when he attacked security check-posts in the Tawakh base.
A local resident, who did not want to be named, said Hamid Khorasani and his group, holding Taliban flags, attacked with light and heavy weapons and fled to the mountains after hours of fighting.
“My friends and I were injured”, Abdul Hamid Khorasani wrote on his Facebook page.
Khorasani, the leader of the group of irresponsible gunmen, has been critical of the government for several years .
