Lt. Gen. Sadaat handed over Kabul security affairs charge

KABUL (Pajhwok): Lt. Gen. Syed Samai Sadaat has been appointed in-charge of Kabul province security affairs, according to a statement from Presidential Palace on Saturday.

The appointment of Sadaat comes in compliance with presidential decree.

All security institutions in Kabul had been tasked to engage in close coordination with Lt. Gen. Sadaat on matters related to Kabul security.

It is worth mentioning that earlier Col. Sadaat was appointed as head of the Commando forces.
