MIAMANA (Pajhwok): Tens of Taliban killed and injured as their attack on Maimana City, the capital of northwestern Faryab province was repulsed, according to government sources on Saturday.

The government carried out airstrikes and even dropped a bomb on the mosque, injuring four civilians, he added.
He said the Taliban had gathered around the city and were preparing to attack.
