Your savings in banks are safe, ABA tells customers

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Banks Association (ABA) on Sunday assured people that they should not be worried about their life savings in the banks as nothing was threatening them.

In a statement, the ABA said that recently people rushed towards banks and lined up at cash machines to withdraw their cash and assets.

“On the representation of all Afghanistan banks, I assure the people that your cash is safe and secure and no one should be worried about their cash. Rush to banks decline sthe ability of banks to serve all the clients.”

It said being financial institutions banks were active in all government systems. “The cash deposits of all people are safe and banks are responsible to return your money.”

The statement said that the Da Afghanistan Bank cash reservoir was more than the amount of common people with the banks and there was no shortage with the bank to return their amount.

ABA asked the masses to remain patient about their cash in their bank accounts as their money was safe and secure.
