KABUL (Pajhwok): Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, head of the Taliban’s political office, has arrived in Kabul, the movement said on Saturday.
Ahmad Wasiq, deputy chief of the movement’s cultural commission, told Pajhwok Afghan News Baradar reached Kabul along with other Taliban members on Friday evening.
He said Baradar was busy meeting people. However, Wasiq did not provide further details about the discussions.
Ten days ago, a US military plane brought Baradar and the delegation he led from Doha to southern Kandahar province.
