Trump, Graham lash out at President Biden

KABUL (Pajhwok): US President Joe Biden has come under harsh criticism from his predecessor Donald Trump for rushing troops out of Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump has intensified his criticism of Biden for rushing out the troops out of Afghanistan that led to the Taliban’s takeover.

“First you bring out all of the American citizens. Then you bring out all equipment. Then you bomb the bases into smithereens,” he said.

In a statement on Friday, Trump accused Biden of bringing out the military. “You don’t do it in reverse order like Biden and our woke generals did. No chaos, no death — they wouldn’t even know we left!”

Biden has faced criticism even from some fellow Democrats for his handling of the crisis.

Meanwhile, Senator Lindsey Graham said if Biden failed to evacuate every American citizen who wanted to leave Afghanistan, he should be impeached by the US Congress.

Graham added the president should be impeached if he left behind the thousands of Afghans who assisted US forces for decades and were being hunted down by the Taliban.
