AIBAK (Pajhwok): The National Radio and Television (RTA) station in northern Samangan province on Monday resumed operations after the fall of the province to the Taliban.
Maulvi Imdadullah Mohajer, head of culture of the province, at the opening ceremony of the national TV, called on officials and employees of the media to work with enthusiasm and with Islamic spirit and be a source of service to people and society.
Noor Mohammad, head of the national TV, said: “In addition to covering local events and broadcasting messages and communiques from the office of the Islamic Emirate in the province, the station also broadcasts from the central National TV at regular intervals.”
He added the channel, in addition to being available to public through antennas, could be watched through Samangan cable as well.
