KABUL (Pajhwok): The Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid on Tuesday rejected media reports regarding CIA Director William Burns and Mullah Beradar meeting in Kabul.
Addressing reporters in his second press briefing in Kabul, Mujahid said banks will resume operation from tomorrow (Wednesday) and the issue of Panjshir has been almost resolve.
Mujahid said efforts were on to resolve the issue of Panjshir politically, adding that 80 percent progress has been made in this regard.
Referring to the closure of universities and schools, Mujahid said educational institutions would be resumed soon.
He asked women to stay in their home until the preparation of procedural rules and regulations adding that they will not be marked absent.
Mujahid rejected CIA director’s meeting with Mullah Beradar in Kabul.
The Taliban spokesperson claimed the level of criminal and violent incident dropped to zero and no major incident of crime or violence reported in the past one week.
