UN wants Kabul attacks perpetrators punished

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights hopes that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in Kabul will be identified and brought to justice.

Rupert Colville, a spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, told a news conference hours ago that “a large number of civilians have been killed and we hope that the authorities will bring the perpetrators to justice as soon as possible.”

At least 90 people were killed and 150 were seriously injured in two terrorist attacks near Kabul airport yesterday. Thirteen of those killed were Americans.
