Afghanistan records 26 coronavirus cases, 6 deaths

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan recorded 26 coronavirus cases and six deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Saturday.

According to the ministry 199 suspected brought to different laboratories in the past 24 hours out of which 26 were positive and this took the total national tally to 153,033.

Of the new cases 20 reported in Kabul, five in Kabul and one in Takhar province.

Nearly 170 coronavirus patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours taking the total number of recovered people to 106,998.

Six people died from the virus in the past 24 hours and that bring the total number of Covid-19 fatalities in the country to 7,109.
