KABUL (Pajhwok): After the US evacuation completed on Tuesday before dawn, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid walking inside the Kabul airport called on Taliban forces to be gentle with the nation.

Walking on the runway, Mujahid told the Taliban forces stationed in the airport, “We praise your sacrifice, it is because of your sacrifices that today we are celebrating independence (pullout of US forces).”
He expressed hope that Afghanistan would never be invaded again and the Islamic system would thrive in Afghanistan.
“I urge you to be very careful in dealing with your nation, because our nation has suffered for twenty years and it can no longer bear to suffer, therefore, we ask all of you to be gentle with your nation because they have the right to rest, breath and settle and we have to serve the nation,” Mujahid told the forces.
