KABUL (Pajhwok): Taliban’s political office leader Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai on Wednesday said that the Islamic Emirate would declare within next two days an ‘inclusive’ government in which all people and political parties would be represented.

During an interview with BBC, Stanikzai said that a new government would be declared within one or two days and it would also include representatives from political parties.

“It will be an inclusive government and people from all corners of Afghanistan will be represented in it, but there will be no senior officials of the former government there”, he said.

Stanikzai said that the new government will be formed of figures based on their virtue and higher education.

He added that the Taliban wanted to have a government that should be supported both at home and on the global level.

About participation of women, he said that no decision on higher level had been made so far on the regard but they would be allowed to work in government offices under the framework of Sharia law.

Taliban’s Leadership Council during a three-day meeting in Kandahar discussed creation of a new Islamic government and cabinet as well as good treatment of people and providing them needed facilities.
