Unknown gunmen kill husband, wife in Logar

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have killed a husband and wife in the Mohammad Agha district of central Logar province, according to local sources on Thursday.

Gula Jan Stanikzai, a tribal elder in the Shahi Kala locality, said unknown gunmen have killed two members of a family in the Shahi Kala locality on Wednesday night.

“Gunmen forced their way into a house and killed husband and wife,” he said.

No group claimed responsibility for the murder.

A Taliban official in Mohammad Agha district confirmed the incident and on the condition of anonymity said investigation into the incident had been launched.
