KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy head of Taliban’s political office in Qatar Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai and the Pakistan ambassador in Doha have discussed the plight of Afghans crossing the Durand Line.
Some of roads and commercial ports have been closed by Pakistan, but the Spink Boldak-Chaman road in Kandahar opens at 7:30am and closes at 3:30pm.
This restriction has not only caused severe hardship to the people, but has also affected trade and commerce. Few trucks are allowed to enter Afghanistan.
Dr. Mohammad Naeem, Taliban’s political spokesman, tweeted Stanikzai met the Pakistani ambassador in Doha on Friday.
He wrote both sides discussed the latest developments in the country, bilateral relations and other issues, as well as the solution to people’s problems.
The two sides vowed to continue and expand cooperative and positive relations, the spokesman added.
