KABUL (Pajhwok): Bahrain provided 30 tonnes of medical and food items to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Public Health (MoP) said on Sunday.
The aid materials that included medicines, food, tents and children clothes were handed over to the MoPH by Bahrain representative Mohammad Al Advi today (Sunday).
According to Bahrain representative, the purpose was to provide support and help to vulnerable Afghans.
Mawlavi Haseebullah Ahmadi, head of the health minister’s office, thanked Bahrain for their support and said Afghanistan direly needed assistance. He asked international community to continue their support from Afghanistan.
