Afghanistan records 110 Covid-19 cases in past 24hrs

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan registered 110 new positive coronavirus cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Tuesday.

Sixty-nine of the new cases recorded in Herat, 15 in Badakhshan, 11 in Kandahar, seven in Zabul, three each in Kabul, Farah and two people in Takhar province.

The total number of positive coronavirus cases reached 153,736 nationwide since outbreak of the pandemic.

According to the MoPH, seven people have died from the virus that took the total number of deaths to 7,151 in the country.
