KABUL (Pajhwok): Some Kabul residents have staged a protest against Pakistan and in support of the National Resistance Front.
In video, the protesters chanted “Long live mujahideen, “long Live Afghanistan” and “Long live the Resistance front”.
Saaduddin, a resident of Aria township, told Pajhwok Afghan News the protest started at around 7.30pm on Monday and lasted an hour.
According to him, around 200 people took part in the protester, which came hours after the Taliban captured Panjsher province.
Some sources in NRF alleged that Fahim Dashti, spokesman for the group, was killed in a Pakistani airstrike in the strategic valley.
But Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed that Dashti was killed in “internal strife”, not in fighting.
