Covid-19: Afghanistan records 111 new cases, 7 deaths

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan registered 111 positive coronavirus cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Thursday.

Over 350 suspected cases brought to different laboratories in the past 24hrs out of which 111 were positive taking the total number of positive cases in the country to 153,962 nationwide.

Seventy-six new cases recorded in Herat, 14 in Badakhshan, eight in Nangarhar, six in Zabul, three each in Kabul and Kandahar and one in Paktia province.

Seven more people died from the virus in the past 24 hours taking the total deaths to 7164.
