FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): A local businessman Haji Abdul Hameed Sharifi has pledged to provide fund to meet the energy demand of the Civil Hospital in western Farah province, an official said on Saturday.
Farah Public Health Department Director Dr. Muzamel told Pajhwok Afghan News: “It is a moment of proud and happiness for the people of Farah that a man agreed to pay for the energy expenditure of the hospital when it is facing financial crisis.”
Haji Abdul HameedSharifi announced a two-month financial package for the hospital after previous institutions who provided fund for the hospital declined to support the health facility in the future, creating electricity and gas problems in the hospital.
Niamatullah, the resident of the locality, thanked Sharifi for his generous support and said such businessmen who come to people rescue in difficult time must be praised.
