Trump pans Biden over pullout from Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Former US president Donald Trump has lambasted his successor for the chaotic withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan.

On the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, Trump visited a fire station and police precinct in New York. He denounced President Joe Biden for his hasty troop pullout from Afghanistan.

According to the Associated Press, Trump did not join Biden and other past presidents at official 9/11 memorial ceremonies at the World Trade Center and in Shanksville.

He wondered why the troop exit from Afghanistan was not mentioned in other 9/11 memorial speeches. “It was gross incompetence,” he remarked.
