KABUL (Pajhwok): A Russian dominated Central Asian States Security Pact refused to accept Afghan refugees, according to a statement on Friday.
The decision was held during a security meeting of the member nations held in Tajikistan. They agreed that Afghan refugees and their military facilitation in these countries would not be appreciated.
Earlier, Uzbekistan had said it would provide temporary stay for Afghans.
After the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, most Afghans tried to flee the country. The US had conducted a historic evacuation process from Kabul airport helping thousands of Afghans to get out of the country.
