Afghanistan records 127 Covid-19 cases in past 24hrs

KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 130 people diagnosed with coronavirus in the past 24 hours nationwide, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Monday.

A total 593 persons suspected patients tested during the period out of which 127 were tested positive taking the total number of Covid-19 patients to 154,712 in the country.

Ghazni registered the highest number of Covid-19 patients 83, Badakhshan 15, Zabul 14, Kandahar 10, two each in Farah and Takhan and one in Nangarhar province.

Thirty patients have recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours taking the total number of recovered patients to 122,540 in the country.
