HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The Taliban have arrested an influential individuals Rahim Tofan in connected to different crimes in the Kahsan district of Herat province, according to the residents of locality on Sunday.
A local resident wishing not to be named said Tofan was arrested on Saturday.
He was held in connected to violating people’s rights, selling and purchase of drugs, land grabbing and other crimes. Tofan arrest comes as a result of public complaints against him.
Pajhwok contacted local officials but they could not reach for comment.
