KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkish president says his country will not take responsibility of managing Kabul International Airport if the new Afghan government is not inclusive and women are not given part in cabinet.
RecepTayyipErdoğan, Turkish president, during an interview with the CBS television channel, said that the new government of Afghanistan was not inclusive and it did not include all groups of people from the country.
If the Taliban failed to resolve these problems, Turkey will not be present in Afghanistan, he said.
“The government in Afghanistan is not inclusive, is not embracing all different factions. So as long as that will be the question we won’t be present in Afghanistan, but if the government is more inclusive, we can be there,” he said.
The Turkish president said that they would support the new government if it allowed women’s role in all parts of life.
This comes as officials of Islamic Emirate had stressed forming an inclusive government and said that they would also give women their role.
