1st consignment of Chinese aid arrives in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): The acting minister of refugees has received the first consignment of humanitarian aid from China.

The Chinese assistance, which reached Kabul on Wednesday, was received by Khalilur Rahman Haqqani.

Including blankets and warm clothes, the assistance would be distributed to to the needy people through the Ministry of Refugees.

Chinese Ambassador Wang Yu in, in a meeting with Haqqani, promised his country would supply humanitarian aid to the Afghans before the arrival of the winter season.
