Covid-19 positive cases declines in Afghanistan

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan records 17 new positive coronavirus cases and two deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said.

 A total of 268 suspected cases brought to different laboratories during the period in which 17 were positive taking the total number of coronavirus cases in Afghanistan to 155,119.

Seven cases recorded in Kandahar, five in Farah, four in Badakhshan and one in Ghor province, according to the MoPH statement.

Three patients died from the respiratory disease taking the total number of patients to 124,733.

Over one hundred people have recovered from the virus during the period that brings the number of recovered persons to 124,733 nationwide.
