KABUL (Pajhwok): Thirty more Afghan evacuees have arrived in Japan after fleeing their country, says a media report.
The Japan Times reported on Saturday the fresh arrivals include local workers for the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
The latest group, who will be quarantined after COVID-19 testing, reached Japan after a day after the arrival of 16 Afghans and 10 in late August.
Japan granted the Afghans visas and arranged air tickets for them after they fled overland to neighboring countries last month.
