Indonesian foundation provides $700,000 in aid to Afghans

KABUL (Pajhwok): Indonesian welfare organization Tahir Foundation has provided over $700,000 to UNICEF for humanitarian assistance with the people of Afghanistan.

UNICEF Afghanistan branch in a tweet said: “With thanks to funding from

@tahirfoundation#UNICEF will bring life-saving health & nutrition services to #children&#women in unreached and remote communities in #Afghanistan.”

According to the source food, health care and other necessary equipment would be purchased for vulnerable women and children in Afghanistan.
