KABUL (Pajhwok): Shaikh Abdul Hakeem Haqqani has been appointed as acting Chief Justice of the country, an official said on Friday.
Bilal Karimi, secretary of Zabihullah Mujahid, on his twitter account wrote: “Shaikh Abdul Hakem Haqqani has been appointed as acting Chief Justice of the country.”
He added Mawlavi Qasim Turkman was appointed first deputy chief justice while Mawlavi Abdul Malik as second deputy chief justice.
The new appointments come at time when the international community have been asking the Taliban form an inclusive government.
