KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi will head Taliban’s delegation to the Moscow conference on Afghanistan.
The Islamic Emirate would try to develop legitimate relations with the world as soon as possible, a spokesman for the Taliban said.
TOLOnews quoted Inamullah Samangani as saying: “A high-level delegation of the Islamic Emirate, led by Abdul Salam Hanafi, will participate in the Moscow conference.”
The delegates would hold talks on the situation in Afghanistan with representatives of different countries.
“Of course, we should wait for further details, as the format of the conference is yet to be decided,” Samangani added.
The conference on the Afghan situation is scheduled to take place in the Russian capital on Wednesday.
