KABUL (Pajhwok): Two security personnel were wounded in a hand grenade explosion in Kabul on Monday morning.
The morning rush-hour attack occurred in the Deh Mazang Square of the police district three (PD3) at about 8.30am, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.
MoI spokesman Qari Saeed Khosti told Pajhwok Afghan News the hand grenade was deliberately hurled at the security personnel in the area.
Civilians suffered no harm in the attack, added the spokesman, who explained the injured were in stable condition.
No one has been arrested yet in connection with the blast, according to Khosti. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
